With more than 15 years of professional experience in a variety of roles and industries, I have learned one thing – marketing is simply educating your customer about your product or service and building a relationship that results in sales. This process requires in-depth listening to understand who and where your audience is and how best reach to them.

An intuitive listener and curious learner, I gather information about your organization or business, audience, and goals. I ask specifically tailored questions to gain insights. With this information, I  weave together and create an integrated campaign or plan that works for you.

In my first career as an educator, I developed and led innovative programs for museums in Washington, DC, until I achieved my career goal of becoming a Curator of Education and decided to move back home to Cleveland to pursue new goals.

As an accidental marketing professional in the training and human resources industry, I created a successful online branding campaign that doubled inbound web traffic each year through blogging, email, and social media resulting in increased sales.

Since then I have worked with non-profits and small to mid-size businesses to better promote their products and services through marketing communications focused on community engagement. Some of my recent projects have included:

  • Executing a digital strategy and plan, including blogging, social media, and email marketing for a technology consultant.
  • Developing an integrated marketing, website, and social media plan for a small spiritual center.
  • Providing creative direction and content for an integrated marketing piece for an organization focused on collaboration.

Also an informative speaker, I have facilitated workshops for creative women entrepreneurs, presented a parent workshop on raising creative kids, and sat on a panel discussing women in blogging plus have spoken extensively on digital branding and social media.

I earned an MA from the Ohio State University and a BA from Seton Hill University and have also completed coursework toward an Interactive Media certificate and am Inbound Certified through HubSpot.
